Beau Séjour: Bed and Breakfast / Guest House Dinner - other information Bed and Breakfast situated close to Saint Emilion and Bordeaux Dinner is served only by reservation in advance. We are not a restaurant and the rules for table d’hotes stipulate that there cannot be any choice of menu.  All guests eat the same food, at the same time, but equally there cannot be any extras - everything, including wine and coffee, is included in the price. We try to make the dinners interesting to cook and to eat and to avoid dishes that are not popular.  Please notify us in advance of any special dietary requirements. Dinner is served at 20.00 commencing with an aperitif and appetisers. It is a pleasure to create lovely meals and to share them with guests but it is not practicable to do this every day of the week.  This means that there will be some days where we do not cook but we will advise guests in advance and offer suggestions for local restaurants. Rated number 1 of over 260 B&B's in the Gironde by Tripadvisor Dinner with your hosts - Table d’hotes One of the traditions of the chambres d'hôtes in France is to propose to our guests the opportunity to have dinner at our table. This offers you the opportunity of discovering more about the region and the traditions of the area and the possibility to meet guests from other regions of France and from other countries. Whilst living in France we have discovered the underlying passion of the French, as a nation, for the quality of the food they produce and eat.  It has not been difficult to adapt to this passion!  We have spent many years searching for small farmers or suppliers who are as passionate as we are about the quality of their produce.  We always buy the best raw ingredients possible, in many instances from organic farms but some of our suppliers are up to one hour's drive from Beau Séjour.  The cooking at Beau Séjour marries the tradition of french provincial cookery with modern influences.  There are specialities of the house and of the region but always the emphasis is placed on quality of the produce and the pleasure of participating at the table.  Our menus follow the seasons and as much as is possible is homemade.  We are fortunate to live surrounded by vineyards which produce very good wine.  It is a pleasure for us to choose wine which complements the food. We propose from Monday to Thursday evenings the 'dîner du marché' at an inclusive price per person of 32.50€. Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings we propose the 'dîner gastronomique' at an inclusive price per person of 42.50€. Both menus include an aperitif and appetisers.  Wine, selected to accompany the food, is served throughout the meal. A choice of tea, coffee or tisane is served at the end of the meal.
